LovePastors Is a Thing
Yep—it’s official.
LovePastors is a thing.
We’re a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a leadership team (Board), a dot-com, a clear mission, some sharp logos and branding, and even some unforgettable podcast episodes on the way.
But how on earth did we get here?
Are we here because a veteran pastor sensed God’s call to encourage and support other pastors and their families?
Because a couple of pastor’s kids—already using their leadership gifts to help others meet Jesus—felt a tug to pour life into pastors, their spouses, kids, and churches?
Because a current pastor, deeply involved in local and international ministry networks, developed a heart to walk with fellow pastors through their struggles in real, relational ways?
Because a former church staff member and women’s ministry leader—someone who’s served hundreds of churches and countless ministry families—decided to invest her time and talent to help us do better, together?
Because a college president, a ministry network leader, a legendary Christian counselor, a football coach, several authors, podcast hosts, business leaders, and even a Bishop challenged us to step up?
Because a growing network of pastors in Northeast Ohio agreed—loud and clear—that no pastor should stand alone as they battle:
- anxiety and depression
- anger and fear
- opposition and pressure
- burnout and discouragement
- compassion fatigue
- tough decisions and constant expectations
- spiritual weight
- financial stress
- political distractions
- addiction battles
- and the weekly burden of standing on a stage (or screen) trying to offer hope to a distracted world—in 35 minutes or less?
Yes. That’s exactly why we’re here.
That’s the origin story.
But really—it’s your story too.
LovePastors isn’t just a “Gary thing.” It’s the result of you—the people who see the need, feel the burden, and want to make a difference.
You didn’t need convincing.
You saw it.
You affirmed it.
You prayed, donated, encouraged, listened, and stepped up.
We’re here—together—because pastors and their families matter to God.
